So you know what you want.
Speaker:You want more money, better health, better relationships, a thriving business.
Speaker:And you visualize, you keep a vision board, you take.
Speaker:You state affirmations, you take action, but somehow your brain keeps
Speaker:directing you away from.
Speaker:Taking your focus away from what you want to manifest is really frustrating.
Speaker:So what's the problem?
Speaker:Well, it's not you.
Speaker:The biggest block to manifesting is actually your brain.
Speaker:I know, I know.
Speaker:It's the very thing that's running the show.
Speaker:And yet your brain is wired to block manifestation.
Speaker:Yeah, I know.
Speaker:That's disappointing to hear.
Speaker:I know this very well of my own brain.
Speaker:It's not designed to create what you want.
Speaker:It's actually designed to keep you safe.
Speaker:And that means at least safe to your brain.
Speaker:Or my brain is sticking to what's familiar, obsessing over worst case
Speaker:scenarios and generally being a total buzzkill to your dreams.
Speaker:That's your brain day in and day out.
Speaker:It's my brain at least.
Speaker:But I hear this all the time.
Speaker:I hear this in the conversations I have with coaches and the doubts
Speaker:and the fears and the worries.
Speaker:That's their brain being the total buzzkill to their dreams.
Speaker:So this is the way that your brain is wired though.
Speaker:It's wired to keep you alive and to keep you safe.
Speaker:Here's how your brain keeps you stuck.
Speaker:It fixates on the past of what used to be.
Speaker:Or it dredges up old failures and makes you feel the pain of them all over
Speaker:again, again and again and again.
Speaker:So not helpful.
Speaker:It worries about the future, spinning up worst case scenarios, taking your mind
Speaker:where you never wanted to go again.
Speaker:It scans for threats, locking in on problems instead of possibilities.
Speaker:Which is why you're still over analyzing that awkward client call from last week.
Speaker:Your brain is constantly redirecting your focus to the exact opposite
Speaker:of what you want to manifest.
Speaker:Because why make things easy, right?
Speaker:Don't worry, I have some suggestions for you.
Speaker:So just hang on.
Speaker:Let's do a 60 second brain reset.
Speaker:This is a simple exercise to instantly snap your brain out of its survival
Speaker:loop and shift into manifesting mode.
Speaker:The right here, right now. Reset.
Speaker:Close your eyes.
Speaker:Take a deep breath.
Speaker:Name three things that feel really good in this exact moment.
Speaker:Like your warm cup of coffee, cozy socks, or the fact that you didn't have
Speaker:to set an alarm this morning.
Speaker:Hey, small wins count Smile.
Speaker:I mean literally smile.
Speaker:This forces a physiological shift in the brain.
Speaker:Even though I'm sure if you could see me right now, that looked really odd, but
Speaker:hey, it does something in the brain so smile and then whisper to yourself.
Speaker:Or you can shout it out loud depending on who's around or if you
Speaker:even care who hears it.
Speaker:Right here, right now, all is good.
Speaker:In this moment.
Speaker:Right here, right now, all is good.
Speaker:This exercise grounds your brain in the present moment, stopping the past
Speaker:future spiral that blocks manifestation.
Speaker:Simple and effective.
Speaker:Do this as often as you need.
Speaker:I recommend that you do it as much as you can.
Speaker:So let's move on to how do we actually trick your brain into
Speaker:manifesting what you want?
Speaker:Instead of being super vigilant of all the threats that exist all
Speaker:around you all the time.
Speaker:Since your brain is naturally wired to focus on what's not working, you
Speaker:have to trick it into cooperating.
Speaker:And here's how.
Speaker:1. Positive emotion saturation.
Speaker:Your brain is like a sponge.
Speaker:It soaks up whatever it's exposed to the most.
Speaker:And since it defaults to soaking up stress, fear and that create cringe moment
Speaker:from way back in 2014, you have to flood it with feel good emotions daily.
Speaker:So you can blast your favorite music.
Speaker:You can move your body.
Speaker:Yes, even a dramatic stretch can count.
Speaker:Celebrate small wins like you just won an award.
Speaker:Body posture.
Speaker:There's been a lot of studies on body posture and how that can actually change
Speaker:your perspective, your emotions and your brain.
Speaker:2. Mental venting.
Speaker:Your brain needs an outlet for its constant noise, its constant rant.
Speaker:So instead of letting those worries sit in your head on a playback
Speaker:loop, dump them onto paper.
Speaker:Write out everything that is weighing on you.
Speaker:Then rewrite it as if you were coaching a friend through it.
Speaker:Because you know he they don't talk to your bestie the way you talk to yourself.
Speaker:At least I hope not.
Speaker:While it's drift in any direction during your next meditation till
Speaker:they all just go silent.
Speaker:Yes, it can happen. I promise.
Speaker:So you know, in meditation, we're often taught to meditate with the
Speaker:purpose of silencing your thoughts.
Speaker:So a lot of people experience this resistance and this frustration because
Speaker:they are trying to silence their thoughts, right?
Speaker:They're meditating and thought after thought continues to bubble up and pop up
Speaker:in their head and they just can't find a quiet second or moment.
Speaker:What if you just let that happen?
Speaker:You just let the thoughts go, let them bubble up to the surface.
Speaker:Let the mental rant ensue.
Speaker:The mental venting.
Speaker:Just let it go until.
Speaker:I promise it won't go on forever.
Speaker:Until it begins to dissipate.
Speaker:3. Happiness cultivation.
Speaker:A happy brain is a manifesting brain.
Speaker:And no, this doesn't mean focusing or I should say forcing positivity 24, 7.
Speaker:It means actively choosing joy, even if it's only in small doses.
Speaker:Look, happiness is a skill.
Speaker:I am a firm believer that becoming a happy person is a skill.
Speaker:Start your day with one thing that makes you feel happy.
Speaker:Give yourself permission to enjoy the present moment without
Speaker:turning it into a to do list.
Speaker:Yeah, that's something I had to work on.
Speaker:Make a list of all the things that make you feel happy.
Speaker:You have to actively practice being happy.
Speaker:You have to practice cultivating happiness.
Speaker:You have to practice finding happiness and exposing your brain to it.
Speaker:More and more and more.
Speaker:The daily practice that keeps your brain aligned with your desires.
Speaker:Here we go.
Speaker:Manifesting is about training your brain, as I said, about practicing to hold the
Speaker:desired energy, vibration or frequency of what you want to experience.
Speaker:Let me repeat that.
Speaker:Manifesting is about training your brain to hold the desired energy, vibration or
Speaker:frequency of what you want to experience.
Speaker:The three Minute Future Lock in exercise every morning.
Speaker:Imagine the moment your manifestation arrives.
Speaker:That moment, that glorious moment.
Speaker:Focus on how it feels, not just what it looks like.
Speaker:Carry that feeling into your day.
Speaker:Your brain will start seeking ways to match it.
Speaker:And when I say carry that feeling into your day, I know that that can
Speaker:be a rather generic statement.
Speaker:And you ask the question how?
Speaker:And what I don't want you to do is fake it.
Speaker:Just imagine that moment that your manifestation arrives.
Speaker:Feel.
Speaker:You know, even if it's for like a split second, you feel something really
Speaker:wonderful and then you try to fake that wonderful throughout the day.
Speaker:That's not what I'm talking about.
Speaker:I don't want you to force anything.
Speaker:What I mean by that is when you have that moment that you're imagining that your
Speaker:manifestation arrives and you can tap into what that will feel like.
Speaker:And there's some excitement there, right there.
Speaker:Maybe there's relief, there's happiness, joy, celebration, whatever that is.
Speaker:At any point throughout your day, I want you to make a conscious effort to recall
Speaker:that memory that you have created for yourself and feel it again.
Speaker:Even if it is literally 1 1,000, 2 1,000, 3 1,000.
Speaker:Good. Okay.
Speaker:This is where discipline is required.
Speaker:This is where you have to practice it, right?
Speaker:You literally have to practice feeling these emotions and exposing your
Speaker:brain to this over and over again.
Speaker:This isn't just woo woo bs.
Speaker:Your brain literally filters the world based on what it expects to see.
Speaker:So make sure it's looking for what you actually want.
Speaker:No more letting it distract you or take your focus away.
Speaker:Because it will. It's going to.
Speaker:That's what it's designed to do because it seems to think it knows best.
Speaker:If you're struggling to focus on what you want to manifest, it's not a you
Speaker:problem, it's a brain problem.
Speaker:And you can actually outsmart it.
Speaker:Train your brain to stay present, feel good, and expect the best.
Speaker:Even though we know we can't control everything and we'll handle whatever comes
Speaker:our way, we can stay present, feel good, cultivate happiness, and expect the best.
Speaker:And watch how quickly things begin to change for you.
Speaker:If you want healthier finances, pull the happiness you're
Speaker:cultivating into that thought.
Speaker:If you want more clients, more success, pull that into your thoughts
Speaker:during your daily practices.
Speaker:If you are out having coffee with a friend and your friend says something really
Speaker:funny and you, both of you are laughing to the point of tears, I want you to recall
Speaker:that moment and that incredible happiness.
Speaker:And I want you to pull that into the thoughts about wanting healthier
Speaker:financial situation or more clients or more success or to lose weight.
Speaker:I want you to pull that happiness in.
Speaker:I call this borrowing joy.
Speaker:To become good at anything, you have to practice, and manifesting is no different.
Speaker:Practicing honing your focus despite your brain's natural tendencies,
Speaker:that's the goal.
Speaker:So let me repeat that.
Speaker:Practicing honing your focus despite you your brain's natural tendencies,
Speaker:that's the goal.
Speaker:As you get stronger, you can keep your focus on what you want to manifest longer.
Speaker:And I think you'll find that your life and business begins to change.
Speaker:Try it.
