Speaker:

Okay, so topics. We talked a little bit about that.

Speaker:

A simple way to begin to create topics.

Speaker:

And it's really shifting away from the idea of topics or content buckets

Speaker:

to simple questions to keep it highly relevant to your people so that you're able

Speaker:

to grab their attention in the sea of content that's out there today.

Speaker:

The other side of this though,

Speaker:

the internal side or the mind management side

Speaker:

is recognizing bottlenecks

Speaker:

in the operation of your business.

Speaker:

So when Fly by the Seat of My Pants in North Carolina asked the question,

Speaker:

she's recognizing a bottleneck in her

Speaker:

business operation, meaning she knows that she needs to create content

Speaker:

and she's attempting to do that.

Speaker:

However, there are probably big gaps and holes

Speaker:

in that flow because she's struggling to come up with topics and she doesn't have

Speaker:

a system in place or a strategy or an approach or a method to make that part

Speaker:

of it easier for her.

Speaker:

For some people that part might be super easy.

Speaker:

Everybody's different. So what I want you to pay attention

Speaker:

to is where are those bottlenecks in your business?

Speaker:

What are the things that are hardest for you to create?

Speaker:

You know, one of mine is videos.

Speaker:

Now it's not creating the video,

Speaker:

like recording is not the issue.

Speaker:

I don't mind. I actually really enjoy doing videos.

Speaker:

And I have the content.

Speaker:

I can hit record and do that part.

Speaker:

The part that becomes the bottleneck for me is the editing.

Speaker:

Now I have all the tools, so that's not the issue either.

Speaker:

It's just sitting down to do it.

Speaker:

I don't want to. I don't want to sit there.

Speaker:

And even I have you know, I even have a ~

Speaker:

a text to ~ just like chat GPT,

Speaker:

right? Like I can just type in what I want done and the the

Speaker:

~ platform uses AI to to do that for me.

Speaker:

It's still a process though. I mean it's way faster,

Speaker:

but it's still a process. And I still find for whatever reason that's my bottleneck,

Speaker:

one of mine, you know? So it's always on my radar,

Speaker:

like

Speaker:

you know, there's aspects of this process that I have ~ solved,

Speaker:

meaning it's no longer a bottleneck,

Speaker:

but I still have some. And so I'm always that's always on my radar as to

Speaker:

how am I going to remove that bottleneck so that that piece of what

Speaker:

I want to create is as simple as it can be and flows.

Speaker:

So I want you to be aware of where are the bottlenecks for you and

Speaker:

Those show up as it's not just a logistical thing,

Speaker:

meaning it's not just a I don't un I don't know how to do it,

Speaker:

or I don't have the technology to do it,

Speaker:

or I don't have the time to do it.

Speaker:

Sometimes it's there's there is a part

Speaker:

of it that is triggering me emotionally,

Speaker:

and I can't do it.

Speaker:

We'll use video as an example because this is a big one for a lot of people.

Speaker:

There's this aspect of visibility that is incredibly vulnerable.

Speaker:

And ~ you know, what whatever those reasons are,

Speaker:

and you know, for whatever for some people it's a matter of if I can't

Speaker:

get on video and and come across as completely polished,

Speaker:

~ then I don't want to do it. Well,

Speaker:

for others, it's just like that's just opening,

Speaker:

like letting

Speaker:

People see me in a way that I am not ready for.

Speaker:

So be aware of the bottlenecks

Speaker:

and if you can, by just simply asking yourself a few questions,

Speaker:

understand what the bottleneck really is.

Speaker:

Is it logistical? And if it is,

Speaker:

is it a timing thing? Is it a ~ technology thing?

Speaker:

Is it a knowledge thing? Is it

Speaker:

Emotional. Is something being triggered?

Speaker:

Is there a belief getting in the way?

Speaker:

Is there something about it that you dread,

Speaker:

that you fear? What is it? And just become aware of that.

Speaker:

You don't have to do anything with it right now,

Speaker:

but just become aware of that.

Speaker:

And you know,

Speaker:

that can take you a really long way in towards getting

Speaker:

to the kind of business that you want to have.

Speaker:

being able to build the kind of business that you wanna have because my goodness,

Speaker:

does business like that is just a can of worms that people don't I have

Speaker:

so many women that I've spoken to about this where I bet you didn't know when

Speaker:

you decided you were gonna do this coaching thing or this consulting thing

Speaker:

or this whatever business thing that it was going to open all of these cans

Speaker:

of worms and they're always in total agreement,

Speaker:

like, ~ my goodness, no, I did not know.

Speaker:

So I do know. I've not only have

Speaker:

I've been there myself and I go there myself quite often because don't think that

Speaker:

just because I have all of these years of experience that I don't that I don't

Speaker:

or no longer experience even emotional triggers because I do.

Speaker:

I really, really do. ~ I do have more tools in place now though

Speaker:

to handle it and to manage my own mind so that I can continue moving forward rather

Speaker:

than getting derailed. All right.

Speaker:

So I am going to stop my rambling there.

Speaker:

And I hope that this has been helpful for you.

Speaker:

You know, remember, like you can hit reply on that email,

Speaker:

that dear solo coach letter, even if you're not a coach,

Speaker:

but you have some kind of adjacent business.

Speaker:

Hit reply and ask a simple question.

Speaker:

You I will not I will not grill you about it.

Speaker:

I won't even respond unless you need me to.

Speaker:

~ but I will answer, more than likely,

Speaker:

I will answer ~ your question on in one of these letters.

Speaker:

All right. Much love.
